The Owner and Chef Catello Avagnale is Italian born and opened his restaurant as part of a master plan. His dream is to one day own a dairy farm in Madison County. In addition to the dairy farm (for cheese making), he wants to expand his restaurant into a deli serving fresh cheeses and meats for purchase. The restaurant will be housed next door so guests can eat in the restaurant then get items to go. His master plan and dream is impressive!
In the meantime, he is cooking up authentic Italian cuisine transports you to a town in Italy not Indiana. The restaurant may be located in a small Indiana town but packs a big punch in presentation and layers of flavors.
To start out your Italian extravaganza many options are available but if sharing choose the Aged Cheese and Meats for Two. It is a beautiful presentation that looks too good to eat.
Catello makes his owns mozzarella daily. Sometimes when ordering it can be just an hour old. Wow now that's fresh! He also makes the burrata, cream salmon, Gorgonzola Dolce, and Stuffed Mozzarella. (Shown here) The breads are made by a Midwestern baker in Cincinnati known as Three Bakers Bread.

For your main course, try the handcrafted Ravioli. It is made by a Indy pasta maker, Andrea Bettini. The Ravioli Al Pomodoro pictured is stuffed with homemade ricotta and spinach with a tomato cream sauce.
