If there's one thing about Hoosier's, we love our Sugar Cream Pie! Who has the best Sugar Cream Pie around? Why, Mrs. Wick's. Mike Wickersham and Mrs. Wick's Pies was instrumental in getting the Sugar Cream Pie as the "Official State Pie of Indiana"!

This restaurant is one busy place during the day. Many diners enjoy breakfast or lunch before choosing their favorite pie for dessert. Yes, I did say breakfast too! On the menu you will find Breakfast Specials under $4.25 that includes two eggs, bacon, toast and coffee. My choice was on the lunch menu and that was the Hand Breaded Tenderloin with the works, mayo, lettuce, tomato and onion.

Certainly plenty to eat that I elected not to have a side item because I was saving my appetite for pie! One of my favorites is their Coconut Cream Pie. It was so light and fluffy, melting in my mouth!!! You can never have enough pie, so I had to taste the Pecan Pie too. Mrs. Wick's pies are handmade and baked on site, served by the slice.There are over 38 fruit pies, cream pies and sugar-free pies. In one corner of the restaurant, you will find frozen food cases filled with fruit pies, sugar cream pies, pie crust shells and even "damaged" pies (ones that a piece of crust may have fallen off) for sale. I certainly didn't leave empty handed-purchasing an additional 4 sugar cream pies and a fruit pie or two!
