Bouser's Barn Restaurant

Bouser's Barn Restaurant has been a fixture in Union City since 1963. Bouser's has been at the current location on State Road 32 since 1974. Keith and Susan Bousman have filled the restaurant with memorabilia on the walls signed photograph's of stars, vintage trains, antique mugs, signs, toys and items that certainly bring back childhood memories! Stories can be told from the memorabilia on the walls. There's even a section in the restaurant where you can purchase jellies, honey and other goodies that are made in and around Indiana.
Majority of their items on the menu are homemade. There truly is something for everyone on the menu and all just as delicious. You've got to try the corn nuggets thoroughly enjoyed the creamy corn filling. I had the 2 pc chicken snack and that comes with one side. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and just right on the inside. Oh my, the decisions on which homemade side I should have with my meal. Instead of the usual French fries, try some of Keith and Susan's side dishes, like the potato salad, The baked beans became the perfect side dish for me! Their soups are homemade. I suggest you try the fully loaded potato soup! The most popular item on the menu is their 7oz. hand rolled tenderloin sandwich. Other choices include pizza, chicken, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, seafood, salad and more! Desserts include ice cream, frozen yogurt and pie. Susan's Black Raspberry pie was amazing, still warm after just being baked that morning!! Keith also had me try Betty's Peanut Butter pie. It was so smooth and melted in your mouth.
When in Union City, don't forget Bouser's Barn Restaurant. You can certainly carry out, but dine in and get the full experience of Bouser's!
