On the west side of the courthouse square, in scenic downtown Greensburg, sits a great little restaurant with big flavor! Carriage on the Square Smokehouse boasts great food with a great atmosphere. The casual dining, with the big screen televisions (so you dont miss the game) is an exceptional idea for either lunch or dinner.

While my knowledge of BBQ is very limited, the friendly staff is there to help you successfully navigate through the world of smoke and sauce. With dishes like the Wobbling Carriage or the Running Pony I wasnt sure where to even begin. There is a sign that explains what each item is and specifics regarding each type of sauce they offer. The staff is more than happy to offer suggestions if you are still confused! Offering Pork, Chicken, and a melt in your mouth brisket with sauces from the Spicy Kansas City Style, Chad, to the Mustard Style, Faith, sauce. Oh, and dont forget the sides!!!!! Smoky baked beans, slaw, and the favorite&Cheesy Grits.

While they do offer soft drinks, their Sweet Tea is FANTASTIC! It is brewed to perfection without being too sweet nor too strong. With a fair selections of beer as well, youll surely be able to wash down an amazing meal.

If youre still hungry, try a piece of Snickers Cheesecake or a dish of hand-dipped Ice Cream.
