The Coachman Restaurant and Lounge, Plainfield

November 4, 2014 - General -

Coachman Located just off of I-70 on Cambridge way; which, runs parallel to highway 267, in Plainfield, just minutes from the Indianapolis International Airport, The Coachman Restaurant and Lounge is a great restaurant for a nice relaxing evening out with family and friends or a quick trip before or after a flight at the airport.

The restaurant is most well known for their steaks especially their Prime Rib, although they have great seafood and other options as well. All the meat is trimmed and cut in house every day! Not something you see at very many restaurants but they have been doing it for more than 22 years, I think theyve got it down. The steaks are perfectly seasoned and cooked and are so tender almost dont need a knife to cut them. We recommend getting a twice baked potato as a side- they are delicious, although Im sure not the healthiest of options but hey, you only live once right?

As you walk in to the restaurant it has a very eclectic décor with signs, windows and other pieces from other businesses and buildings. There is even a wall dedicated to the military and the owner rides with a group of Harley Davidson owners to Washington DC every year, a few pictures of their trips are on this wall as well. Be sure to stop by on Friday and Saturday nights from 8pm-midnight for live music on the patio (weather permitting), its like a party every weekend! They have a great bar as well so be sure to order your favorite drink as you listen to the performance or enjoy your meal!
