"Native Hoosiers grow up believing the rest of the world knows what a tenderloin sandwich is. They might be crispy, flat and huge or thick and juicy. However, they are delicious. Perhaps the story of the Indiana tenderloin sandwich is just as telling of Hoosier heritage as that of the sugar cream pie.
